IWMG: International Waste Management Group
WEEE Services
- We operate three 7.5 tonne box vans with tail-lifts for the uplift of Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) and also have four hiab crane lorries for the uplift of heavier items. In total we have 12 drivers/labourers working exclusively on WEEE and fridge recycling. IWMG guarantee that we will uplift and recycle goods for the duration of any contract.
- We will be using our facility at Unit 27, Mayfield Industrial Estate, Dalkeith, Midlothian, EH22 4AD to sort and transfer waste to appropriate final treatment facilities.
- We offer the full range of services for the recycling, recovery, reuse, refurbishment and re-marketing of redundant, excess, obsolete and/or end of life electrical and electronic equipment and material.
- We are recycling/re-using slightly over 90% (about 92%) of waste electronic equipment coming through IWMG. We re-use equipment wherever possible.
- IWMG have specialised in the recycling of discarded products, residues and waste products from the electrical and electronics industry. Our highly specialised knowledge and expertise in recycling are also available to other sectors of industry for the collection, sorting, screening and trading of residues from their production processes. We can perform a valuable service to the environment in a way that is also economically attractive.
IWMG engages in a wide range of activities relating to the recycling of electrical and electronic products. It is experienced in the collection and processing of both household goods and appliances (brown and white goods) and professional and industrial equipment.
IWMG recovers valuable substances and materials, often ferrous- and non-ferrous metals, glass, plastics and precious metals, which are then traded as secondary base materials for industrial processes.
The products that IWMG uplifts and recycles include:
- computers;
- printers, fax machines, copying machines and other IT equipment;
- telecommunications equipment;
- TV sets, monitors, audio and video equipment;
- electrical household appliances;
- medical equipment;
- production machinery and related products and equipment.
Monthly destruction notes will be issued and can be verified by audit if required. These will show the weights of equipment collected and a breakdown of recycled materials.
Recycling is always customised work at IWMG. Specific to each client, the most attractive economic solution is identified within the complicated regulations in the environmental field.
It is our aim to provide unparalleled solutions in recycling services, by building on client and customer relationship management. We aim to run a profitable enterprise based on common, efficient processes, active sales and marketing programmes, continual development of people and the processes.
Our services comply with current national and European environmental legislation.
